I met my wife, Donna DiRienzo, when we campaigned for George McGovern in the New Hampshire primary of March 1972. We were watching the Spring Weekend parade at WestConn in this photo.. Tinted in a reddish hue, the photo was taken by fellow classmate, the late Jim Dyer (later he was Mayor of Danbury). That's me, bottom left, holding hands with Donna who is facing me.
