My father took my sister, Sara, and me to see the New York Mets during their second season in 1963. This game was on Weds, August 14th. In another losing season, the Mets actually won this game, 4-2, against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Al Jackson was the pitcher who won the game. Copyright: Marc Catone, 2011
