Marc & Taffee November 1965
Photo taken in the Fall of 1965, with my cocker spaniel, Taffee (1961-1976). I had just finished combing and brushing her, the comb and brush on the left side of the porch. The uniform I wore back then... a maroon "Monkey Jacket", tan wranglers, and penny loafers...I was a "Rah-Rah" wannabee back then. Photo taken on the back porch at Putnam Drive. I remember Rah Rahs. Are those penny loafers you're wearing? Great pic Marc

Yes, I don't know if I was ever accepted fully into the "Rah-Rah" contingency by those kids who occupied it, but I tried to dress that way, particularly during my sophomore and junior years in high school. Yep, those are penny-loafers, but because I thought I was so cool, I put dimes in the coin slot on the shoes. I have a memory of you wearing a CPO jacket (the ones with the long tails in front and back). Now, that I think of it, most memories of you involve riding the school bus to DHS.
