Rogers Park Bridge, Danbury CT
My Great Grandfather, Dominick Catone, and my Grandfather, Campbell A. Catone, helped to build this stone bridge at the main intersection within Rogers Park. Three generations of Catones were stone masons. The bridge was part of a WPA construction project in the 1930s. Rogers Park is the big city park located on the South side of Danbury, only a half-mile from where I grew up on Putnam Drive. That's me sitting on the bridge in June 2008. Nice legs, huh?---copyright: Marc Catone 2010
