Freddie's Country Kitchen
One of the few full scale "sit down" restaurants at the Fair. It was owned by my neighbor, Fred Najamy. The breakfast portion of the restaurant was run in the early 1970s by his daughter, and my good friend, Gilberte Najamy. In 1972, I worked for Fred and Gilberte in the breakfast tent. It was an experience I will never forget, being at the Fair for ten consecutive days. Damn hard work too.
